What to add to a moldboard plow request
Identify a complete implement separately from replacement moldboards, shares, landsides and fastening hardware. A product label is not a bill of materials. Ask the supplier to state the exact quoted configuration, any substitutions and which parts are included. The catalog does not certify fit, hold stock or state a supplier's current pricing.
For a 3 point chisel plow
Record the tractor power or capacity class and implement interface, including three-point hitch category and lifting constraints. Give the working width, intended depth and soil or residue conditions. Different tractor power measures should stay clearly identified; engine or PTO horsepower alone does not settle the suitability of a pulled implement.
For points and other wear parts
Provide the implement model or known reference, dimensions, hole pattern and material requirements. Label measurements taken from a worn sample as provisional. Separate the quantity for individual pieces from sets, assemblies and fasteners. Ask which drawing revision the factory will use and how a proposed substitute differs.
For the order comparison
Give the US destination and seasonal arrival target. Compare the same quantity and unit basis, with packing, freight, handling and spare parts shown separately. Budget is optional: identify currency and whether the figure is per unit or for the whole order. Premium, mid-range, budget-friendly or undecided are buyer preferences, not verified grades.
Use quotation preparation to resolve unanswered parts questions. When the scope is ready, send a written procurement brief with the documents and acceptance questions you want the candidate factory to address.
